Peter Huebner – Harmonic Information as Medication for Education

Music & Nature: Will your musical educational productions supersede conventional education – at least in part?

Peter Huebner: The contents of conventional educational curricula have indeed their abiding value – at least in the area of natural sciences, i.e. there where they can be objectively verified by scientific means.

Change in these scientifically ascertainable areas will only occur if new significant discoveries are made somewhere in the world, and new logical conclusions are drawn.
Nowadays such people usually receive the Nobel Prize.

Our work in the Micro Music Laboratories® does not touch upon the development of the contents of educational curricula, for we only concentrate on the function of human thinking on which the successful exploitation of the contents of the educational curricula is dependent, and so, in this respect, a supplement will be made.
But, in my opinion, this supplement does not require any kind of co-ordination by any kind of political side.

“This is easily put.
The countries which ignore
these modern developments
will, by international comparison, produce more and more unemployed people.
And the countries which drive these modern developments forward will, by international comparison, become
increasingly successful.”

Peter Huebner
Music & Nature: Well – so how do you want to get your products onto the market – where nowadays education is usually only characterised by the learning of the contents of the educational curricula and where, in addition, it is quite often the case that the government has a complete monopoly on education?

Peter Huebner: Originally I had no intention of entering the market and offering our educational products there. I was only interested in research and development in this area, simply because it interests me – particularly since the past results of scientific studies in the field of medicine have proven the enormous significance of harmonical information.

Now I, that is we, the members of staff in the Micro Music Laboratories, the members of the international publishers AAR Edition and several other bodies are interested in researching and initiating developments of the performance potential of harmonical information in the area of education – right away from the hustle and bustle of public and official education or the education market.

Music & Nature: Well – but why are you talking publicly about it then?

Peter Huebner: I can merely provoke thought and awareness of future developments as I see them – especially since these developments have already started in part, obviously not everywhere, but here and there.
And even amongst the so-called civilised nations, there are both progressive and extremely backward countries. Internationally, the thing is in a state of flux and, as such, there will be results which then even the most stupid of educational experts will hardly fail to recognise.

“I have heard that an increasing number of education politicians in Germany are sending their children to be educated in countries where they have seen these developments I have mentioned getting into gear, in order to ensure that they have advantages in the future over the ‘backward’ ones who remain here – where it is the education politicians themselves who have failed to get these developments into gear.”

Peter Huebner
Music & Nature: And last not least you then still have developed the INSTITUTE OF ACADEMIC HARMONY, which shall carry the education aspect of universality into the conventional universities.
Another question to finish with: In the field of education, what does a general comparison between the achievements of the INSTITUTE OF ACADEMIC HARMONY and those of the experts in conventional education at the conventional university look like?

Peter Huebner: This is easily put. The countries which ignore these modern developments with their universities will, by international comparison, produce more and more unemployed people. And the countries which drive these modern developments forward will, by international comparison, become increasingly successful.

Music & Nature: Nowadays the contents of educational curricula no longer even guarantee that the individual pupil or student gets a job. But in the modern industrial societies and/or information societies of the world, able people are always being sought who have no problem helping themselves to education / knowledge / information per computer.

Peter Huebner: If it misses out on these developments, a nation which is still right at the top today might be right at the bottom tomorrow. And a nation which recognises these modern education opportunities can get right from the bottom to the top by purposefully exploiting them.

Music & Nature: More and more often one hears that an increasing number of education politicians in Germany are sending their children to be educated in countries where they have seen these developments I have mentioned getting into gear, in order to ensure that they have advantages in the future over the ‘backward’ ones who remain here – where it is the education politicians themselves who have failed to get these developments into gear.

Peter Huebner: We have found that the conventional style of education actually hinders the training of the intellectual capabilities, because the strain on the memory brought about by rote-learning actually reduces the functional capability for thought.
The modern achievement-orientated style of education which I mentioned, which makes use of the computer and its modern programs will, then, reduce the demands placed on the memory.

Just as, by comparison, ice prevents the river’s flow, the contents of the memory prevents the capacity for logical thought and, with it, the free flow of thinking.

Music & Nature: The success and the increase in achievement of modern computer-supported learning is, then, coupled with the abolishment of the conventional education system with its rote-learning.

Peter Huebner: Every computer expert knows that an internal memory or working storage that is filled with too much information actually delays or blocks the processes of logical integration, and that one can considerably increase the overall performance of the computer by reducing the volume of data stored.
During the development of Medical Resonance Therapy Music®, we already began parallel research and development in the area of education.

Past medical research results provide a whole series of indicators that the application of harmonical information is also effective in the aspect of education I have mentioned, because it increases the performance of the thought function.
